WHAT IS A SOUND BATH?
A sound bath is a therapeutic experience where participants immerse themselves in various sound frequencies produced by instruments like crystal bowls, gongs, drums, and chimes. During a session, participants typically lie down or sit comfortably while the sound vibrations wash over them. The aim is to induce a state of deep relaxation, reduce stress, and promote healing on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AT THE SOUND BATH?
During a sound bath, participants are typically encouraged to find a comfortable position, laying down on a yoga mat depending on the type of session. Once settled, participants simply listen to the sounds produced by the various instruments, allowing the vibrations to wash over them. There's no specific action required; rather, participants are invited to be present in the moment, to focus on their breath, and to allow themselves to be carried away by the soothing sounds. The goal is to let go of any tension or stress and to allow the sounds to guide them into a state of deep relaxation and inner harmony. Feel free to bring your yoga mats, yoga mats are also available onsite.

WHAT IS THE SCIENCE BEHIND SOUND BATHS?
The science behind a sound bath lies in sound therapy and vibrational medicine. Sound vibrations affect the body at a cellular level, influencing brainwaves, heart rate, and the nervous system through a process called entrainment. Research shows sound baths induce relaxation, reduce stress hormones, and improve mood, sleep, and cognitive function. Specific frequencies from instruments like crystal bowls resonate with energy centers in the body, promoting balance. Overall, sound baths offer profound effects on both body and mind, fostering well-being and harmony.
